Mixed Drinks To Request From Your Bartender On Your Next Outing

Going out for drinks is a common thing to do with friends, family, and loves. There are so many drinks out there that we may find ourselves wondering what to order. Trying new drinks can also be a difficult task because we are never sure what kind of ingredients have! These following drinks are great to try the next time you’re going out for a drink.

2 oz. Campari
2 oz. sweet vermouth
8 oz. club soda
orange slice
Fill a glass two-thirds full of ice. Pour sweet vermouth and Campari. Blend with club soda and garnish with an orange slice.

2 oz. cachaca
1/2 oz. simple syrup
1 lime, cut into wedges
Add lime wedges to the cocktail shaker, leave one out for decoration. Mix it up, add the cachaca and the syrup with the cocktail shaker filled with 2/3 of ice. Muddle well to combine. Place drink into a glass, add the remaining lime wedge on the edge of the cup.

Planters Punch
1.5 oz. rum
1.25 oz. orange juice
1.25 oz. pineapple juice
0.5 oz. lemon juice
0.25 oz. pomegranate
0.25 oz. simple syrup
3 drops Angostura bitters
Pour ingredients except Angostura in a shaker with ice. Serve in a glass and add the bitters on top .

Bacardi Cocktail
50 ml rum
15 ml lime juice
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. grenadine syrup
Shake all ingredients with crushed ice. Serve mixed into a cocktail glass, chilled.

Black Russian
45 ml vodka
15 ml Kahlua
1 cherry
Fill a cup with ice, add the vodka and the Kahlua, decorate with cherry and a straw.

Whisky Cobbler Cocktail
2 oz. scotch whiskey
4 oz. of brandy
4 oz. of Curaçao
orange peel
fresh mint
Place ice cubes in a cup, add whisky, brandy, Curaçao and serve, decorate with the orange peel, the pineapple and the fresh mint. Optionally, add a straw.

Gin Sling Cocktail
45 ml gin
30 ml lemon juice
15 ml grenadine
1 slice of lemon
Place the ice in the glass and add gin, lemon juice and grenadine, finish filling the glass with soda and garnish with a lemon slice and a cherry, you can serve with a straw or cocktail stick.

Cuba Libre (free Cuba)
60 ml black rum
40 ml of banana brandy
40 ml Coke
fresh mint
Fill the glass with ice cubes, pour the rum, brandy and Coke, and stir until all the liquid is mixed, add the mint on top of the glass. You can serve with a straw.

B 52 Cocktail
30 ml Kahlua
30 ml Irish cream
30 ml Cointreau
Place the ice in the glass. Pour the Kahlua, Irish cream and Cointreau. Remember you have to do it in this order to obtain the effect of the three layers with different colors. Serve with straws.

Ritz Fizz Cocktail
1 oz. Curaçao
1 oz. Amaretto
1 oz. lemon juice
6 oz. cava, chilled
1 rose petal
Slowly pour the Curaçao, the Amaretto, lemon juice and champagne into a glass. Garnish with rose petal.

Golden Dream Cocktail

30 ml Galliano
20 ml Cointreau
20 ml of orange juice
20 ml of liquid cream
1 cherry
Pour ice, Galliano, Cointreau, orange juice and liquid cream and stir well stir into the glass. It can be decorated with one or two cherries.

These drinks are great to try, next time you’re headed downtown to someplace like Avenue, ask the bartender to serve you up with some of them!
